BerchWood Partners acted as global placement agent for Close Brothers Private Equity Fund VII, which closed in 2004. The Fund secured commitments of £360m, up from £202m for Fund VI (which BerchWood raised in 2000). Close Brothers is based in London and has a 22-year investment track record with a pure focus on UK middle-market companies.
